On Tuesday the 8th September 2015 a Good Mate and I visited Kensington Police Station. We were welcomed by Senior Sergeant Ash Goy. I took in the view of the Main Office adorned with plaques and various ornamental items such as Police Cars, Pictures and the like.
I enjoyed my guided tour of the Police Station. The Staff Room is quite large and roomy with inviting seating arrangements along with some enticing crib room smells.
Accommodation at Kensington is delightful for the discerning offender, apartment no 1 has a view to die for and is complete with a stainless steel toilet and a luxurious mattress. You even get your own video camera so that you know you are not alone.
I noticed the humming buzz of the Detectives Office and with my interest drawn to their old sign shrouding their foyer. Brilliant for a photo.
The Front Reception Area is welcoming and well secured. The two women that look after this area are happy to aid with your enquiries. Be mindful of your manners when visiting.
The open office area lined with computers and phones as you would expect in a police station. I could easily imagine the efficiency of the officers occupying the empty work stations. Phones ringing, screens scrolling, communication is at its best here and no wonder with S/S Goy at the helm.
I well noted the communication skills between officers and all were very friendly smiling faces. This place would be a pleasure for anyone to work in and I found visiting time running out very quickly.
With Permission I snapped off a few photos and have included those here.
Thanks & Regards *S*
