Armadale Detectives are seeking witnesses to an incident which has left an 18 year old Kenwick man in a critical condition after an altercation in Armadale overnight.

Police were called to the corner of Whitehead Street and Jull Street in Armadale at around 1.20am this morning.

It is believed that the man, who was accompanied by friends at the time, was involved in an altercation with a group of people on the street.

During the incident he received serious head injuries. He was conveyed by SJA to RPH, where he remains in a serious condition.

Police are seeking witnesses to the incident, and ask that anyone who can assist to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au

#TougherForCrooks – Armadale Detectives have charged a 61 year old man in relation to an aggravated burglary in Kelmscott.

Just before midnight on Friday 12 February 2016, a 54 year old woman was asleep in her Kelmscott home. A man gained entry to the house whilst in possession of a knife. The woman woke up as the man approached her bed and a scuffle ensued. The woman managed to flee the address and alert her neighbours.

The 61 year old man from Kelmscott has been charged with one count of Aggravated Burglary and Commit and a further count of Wounding. The man is due to due to reappear in the Armadale Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 29 March 2016.

At about 5.00pm on Tuesday the 8th of March 2016 a female victim was in a car park located on Jull Street, Armadale. She was approached by a man who asked if she could give him a lift. As she placed some items inside her vehicle the man indecently assaulted her. The victim got into her car and drove away.

After the incident the man is believed to have spoken to two females that were nearby.

The man is described as fair skinned, aged in his 20’s with shoulder length blonde hair, discoloured teeth and was wearing a black coloured shirt.

Armadale Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance regarding an incident that occurred in Armadale on Thursday 3 March 2016.

About 2.35pm a 15 year old boy was walking through a park which connects Hodges Drive and Wungong Road when he was approached by a group of five males. One of the males demanded the victims watch before revealing a weapon, similar to a bat, which was concealed in his pants. Fearing for his safety the victim dropped his watch and attempted to run from the group but was pushed by three of the males and hit in the back of his head by an object. Following this he was able to run away and seek assistance.

Four of the males are described as being dark skinned, approximately 12-13 years old with a slim to medium build.

The other male is described as being fair skinned, approximately 12-13 years old with a slim build.

Hide and seek completion results: Police Dog Nacho 1, People 0

Armadale Detectives were looking to locate at 27 year old male who was wanted on a number of matters and who had an outstanding arrest warrant.

On 26 February 2016 Armadale Detectives attended a premises in Lynwood hoping to locate the male when it’s alleged he ran through a neighbour’s yard in an attempt to evade Police. Police Dog Nacho was deployed from this location and tracked the male who was hiding under a boat nearby.

A challenge was issued and the male was taken into custody without incident.

Kenwick Evade Police Arrest – Armadale Detectives have charged a woman in relation to an incident in Kenwick this morning, Sunday 28 February 2016, in which a vehicle failed to stop for Police.

About 2:25am a Canine Unit was on patrol when the Dog Handler observed a Holden Commodore that appeared to drive through a red traffic light at the corner of Royal Street and Kenwick Link. As the police vehicle approached the Holden Commodore it accelerated away.

The Dog Handler activated his police vehicle’s emergency lights and siren, however the driver failed to stop. The attempt to stop the vehicle was aborted and it was monitored from a distance. At the corner of Gaskin Road and Kenwick Road the Holden Commodore struck a traffic island and the female driver attempted to flee on foot, but was taken into custody.

A passenger in the vehicle was also detained, however it was established he had just been picked up by the driver.

The vehicle was identified as a stolen vehicle, and was displaying false number plates.

A 19 year old woman from Redcliffe has been charged with:
– Fail to Stop
– Reckless Driving
– No authority to Drive
– Steal Motor Vehicle and Drive Recklessly
– Steal Motor Vehicle
– Possess Drug Paraphernalia
– Stealing
– 2 x Possession of Stolen or Unlawfully Obtained Property

The accused was refused bail and is due to appear in the Armadale Magistrates Court tomorrow, Monday 29 February 2016.

Armadale Incident Charge – Armadale Detectives have charged a 40 year old man in relation to an incident yesterday morning, Saturday 27 February 2016, in which a man received injuries after being struck by a vehicle.

About 10:15am there was an incident involving two vehicles. It will be alleged one of the drivers followed the other driver to a residence on Kiama Road, Armadale, and threw a metal pole at his vehicle, before driving off.

The driver the turned the vehicle around in the cul-de-sac, and it will be further alleged he drove his vehicle towards the other driver, who was now out of his vehicle, and struck him with his vehicle, causing him to land on the bonnet and fall onto the road. The driver did not stop to provide assistance and left the scene.

Police and St John Ambulance personnel were called.

A short time later the driver returned to the street and was arrested by the police officers who attended the scene.

A 40 year old man from Bedfordale has been charged with Act or Omissions Causing Bodily Harm. He is due to appear in the Armadale Magistrates Court on Friday 11 March 2016.

#TougherForCrooks Armadale Detectives have investigated a series of burglaries at primary schools in the South East Metropolitan area where overhead projectors were being targeted.

With help from Armadale Local Policing Team and their District Forensic Officers a person of interest was identified.

As a result of the investigation, a 23 year old man from Gosnells has been charged with: Eight counts of Burglary and Commit Offence in Place, seven counts of Stealing, one count of Criminal Damage and one count of Possess a Prohibited Weapon

He will appear in Armadale Magistrates Court on the 8 March 2016.

As a result of an ongoing investigation, Armadale Detectives today further charged two people after an incident in Camillo on Wednesday 17 February 2016.

A man reported to police hooning behaviour that occurred on Amanda Drive in Camillo during the evening of 17 February 2016.

It will be alleged around 11:15pm that night, the 39 year old male victim was confronted by two men outside a home on Amanda Drive.

A physical altercation took place resulting in the 39 year old man being injured.

A 20 year old Parmelia man and a 27 year old Camillo woman have been charged with Acts Causing Grievous Bodily Harm.

They are both due to appear in the Armadale Magistrates Court, the woman on 8 March and the man on 10 March 2016.

It will be alleged the 39 year old male victim reported to police alleged hooning behaviour that occurred on Amanda Drive Camillo during the evening of 17 February 2016.

It will be alleged around 11:15pm that night, the victim was confronted by two men outside a home on Amanda Drive.

A physical altercation took place between the men resulting in injuries to both the victim and the 24 year old.

A 24 year old Camillo man has been charged with Acts Causing Bodily Harm and Possess Unlicensed Ammunition.

#TougherForCrooks – Around 12:40pm on Thursday 18 February 2016, Armadale Detectives Proactive Team were conducting pro-active patrols in the Harrisdale area when they saw a maroon coloured Ford Falcon driving suspiciously in a new housing estate located off Nicholson Road near Warton Road.

Inquiries revealed the registration plate on the Ford was reported stolen earlier in the day and officers executed a vehicle stop.

Further inquiries by the officers resulted in a 32 year old Warnbro man being charged with:-
Two counts of Stealing;
One count of Aggravated Burglary;
One count of Drove a Motor Vehicle with False Plates and
One count of No Authority to Drive (never held).

He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today, 19 February 2016.

Armadale Detectives Are Seeking The Identify The Owners Of This Recovered Watch And Bike

Armadale Detectives are seeking the identify the owners of this recovered watch and bike.

The property was located during a search warrant at an address in Armadale on 5 February.

The warrant resulted from information received in relation to drug offences and property being stolen from building sites/houses under construction.

A number of stolen property items and drugs were recovered, including a Rheem Stellar hot water system, the distinctive tandem bike and numerous phones/tablets.

A 27 year old man was arrested and charged in relation to possessing stolen or unlawfully obtained property and numerous drug offences.

Another 32 year old man was also charged with drug offences.

Both will appear at Armadale Magistrates Court on 19 February 2016.

As a result of a search warrant carried out today by Armadale Detectives this very distinctive,tandem bicycle was recovered.

This bicycle is stolen and any information on who the owner could be would be greatly appreciated.

Armadale Detectives Are Seeking The Public’S Assistance In Relation To An In cident That Occurred In Orange…

Armadale Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to an incident that occurred in Orange Grove on Saturday 2 January 2016.

About 10.50pm police had conducted a traffic stop on Kelvin Road, approximately 500 metres north east of the intersection of Tonkin Highway. As the officers were exiting their vehicle they observed another vehicle travelling south west which was heading towards them. The officers were able to quickly take evasive action as the vehicle narrowly missed them and collided with the open driver’s door of the police vehicle.

The vehicle accelerated away at speed towards Tonkin Highway and headed north before officers lost sight of it.

The vehicle is described as a green Mazda 2B 2013-2015 model (similar to the one pictured). The vehicle is believed to be missing the right wing mirror and may potentially have a small amount of blue paint from the exchange with the police vehicle. Given the time since the incident the mirror may have been replaced and look newer than the rest of the vehicle.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident or has any information in relation to it.

Armadale Detectives are seeking information in relation to an Aggravated Burglary which occurred at a residence in Canning Vale last Wednesday, 13 January 2016.

About 3:00pm, a 56 year old woman came home to her residence located on Brennan Avenue to find her home had been broken into. She disturbed the persons inside who fled from the property.

Valuable items of property were stolen, including US Army World War II service insignia from the victims’ late mother and father. Jewellery and electrical goods were also stolen.

The investigating is still ongoing and police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate the US Army WWII insignia which are of sentimental value to the victim (as pictured).

Armadale Detectives and Cannington Local Policing Teams have charged a 14 year old male in relation to a series of stolen motorcycles.

It is alleged that on 15 January 2016, a number of youths were interrupted while attempting to steal a motorcycle from a shopping centre car park in Cannington.

Police conducted inquiries into the incident and identified that it was linked to a series of stolen motorcycles.

Persons of interest were identified and yesterday police conducted a search warrant at a house in Gosnells where 5 people were arrested and a motorcycle was seized.

A 14 year old male from Gosnells has been charged with 5 counts of Steal Motor Vehicle and 5 counts of No Authority to Drive. He will appear in the Perth Children’s Court tomorrow 18 January 2016.

Inquiries are continuing.

About 2.30pm a woman entered the shopping centre and made her way to a discount variety store where she placed several items into her trolley. She later moved these items into a blue cooler bag and began walking towards the front exit of the store.

A staff member challenged the woman to open the bag prior to leaving. The woman opened to bag and placed the items back into the trolley while verbally abusing the staff member. She then punched her to the face causing her to fall to the ground.

The woman then later returned to the store and continued to verbally abuse the victim before punching her again and kicking her to the hip. She then gathered items from the front of the store and left without paying for them.

Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe can assist them with their inquiries into this incident.
