#Canyouhelp #TougherForCrooks At approximately 3pm on Wednesday 20 January 2016, a 15 year old boy was walking from the Bayswater train station when he noticed two men following him as he walked along an alleyway between Railway Parade and Winifred Road. One of the men ran past the boy blocking him from exiting the alleyway, the other man approached him from behind and subsequently removed a mobile phone and a wallet from the boy’s pockets.

Both men then walked towards Winifred Road.

Police have released CCTV images of two men who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.

37 Year Old Male Facing Multiple Charges After Several Overnight Incidents.

Burglary Arrest – A 37 year old Parmelia man will face the Perth Magistrates Court today (14 February 2016) after several incidents overnight.
It will be alleged around 6.30pm on Saturday 13 February 2016, the man climbed the rear fence into the yard of a home in Vincent Street Mount Lawley. He was seen by the homeowner attempting to get into the house. The man ran off and the homeowner followed him.
The man was seen going into the front yard of another home on Vincent Street. The homeowner following told the man to leave his neighbours property, which he did.
It will be further alleged a short time later the man was seen entering a home on Grosvenor Rd through an open front window. The male occupants of the home were in the backyard but heard the man rummaging through their home.
The man fled through a window with several items of property including car keys. Several neighbours were following the man by this time and he threatened them with a wooden stake and again a short time later with a broken roof tile before running away.
Police were called and Bayswater Local Policing Team officers attended. Officers located and apprehended the man shortly after arrival.
The man has been charged with:-
One count of Aggravated Burglary;
One count of Aggravated Attempted Burglary;
One count of Trespass;
One count of Stealing and
Two counts of Possess Article

Embleton pursuit last night landed one in custody –

At about 7:30pm last night, 8 February 2016, Bayswater Police were patrolling in Embleton when they attempted to stop a blue Honda Accord. It is alleged that the driver of the Honda failed to stop and attempted to evade Police, travelling at speed through Inglewood and Bedford.

While travelling east on Beaufort Street Police lost sight of the vehicle. It was located a short time later near the intersection of Beaufort and Drummond Street, where it had collided with 5 other vehicles.

It is alleged that the driver attempted to run from the scene, but was arrested by Police a short distance away.

The occupants of the vehicles were accessed by St Johns Ambulance and found to have no serious injuries.

The driver of the Honda, a 32 year old man from Perth, has been charged with:
– Fail to Stop
– Reckless Driving
– No Authority to Drive
– Fail to Report Accident Causing Damage to Property
– Drove, caused or permitted a vehicle with a forged, replica or false plate to be driven on a road
