Burglary Arrest – Mirrabooka Detectives have arrested a 42 year old woman in relation to numerous burglary incidents.

Geraldton Police investigating multiple burglary incidents that occurred between October 2015 and January 2016 in the Geraldton area, contacted Mirrabooka Detectives Proactive Team after they established a person that could assist them with their investigation was currently residing in Perth.

As a result of these inquiries a 42 year old Rangeway woman has been charged with:-
Nine counts of Stealing;
Eight counts of Burglary;
One count of Aggravated Burglary;
One count of Attempted Aggravated Burglary and
One count of Breach of Bail.

She is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today, 17 February 2016.

#Canyouhelp Geraldton Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing 73 year old Rodney William MARSDEN.

Mr MARSDEN left Geraldton around 6:15am on Saturday 28 November 2015 intending to travel to the Millstream National Park which is approximately 50kms south of Roebourne.

He is driving a 2007 white Nissan Navara utility with a distinctive grey canvas canopy on the tray (no trailer). Vehicle registration is ROD259.

He is described as being fair skinned, approximately 170cms tall with a medium build, grey hair and brown eyes.

Mr MARSDEN was due to make contact with family every couple of days but they have not heard from him since he left on 28 November.

Although he is in good health and has sufficient supplies for the planned trip, police are concerned for his welfare due to his lack of communication.

Anyone who sees Mr MARSDEN or his vehicle, or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call police immediately on 131 444.

Geraldton Local Policing Team Officers Are Seeking The Public’S Assistance For Information To Assist…

Geraldton Local Policing Team officers are seeking the public’s assistance for information to assist with their investigation into an assault in Rangeway on Monday, 9 November 2015.

At about 8:50am, a 37 year old man and his female partner were walking along Cassia Street when a man and a woman chased them. The woman was armed with a knife.

The couple ran away in different directions and the offenders pursued the man to a service station on Rifle Range Road.

The woman accompanied by the man, stabbed the victim several times with the knife.

The 37 year old man received minor injuries and was taken to Geraldton Regional Hospital for medical treatment.

The woman is described as being in her 20s, about 165 to 175cms tall, with a slim build and dark coloured hair tied up in a bun. She was wearing a pink jumper with a white motif and blue denim jeans rolled up below her knees.

The man is described as being between 30 to 40 years of age, approximately 170 to 180cms tall with a slim build, dark short hair and a short goatee. He was wearing a black shirt with a motif on the front, black shorts and sunglasses.
