Team 2 Back In For Night One Of Our Two This Time Round The Roster

Team 2 back in for night one of our two this time round the roster.

Just a quick update of some wins over the last couple of days around SEMD.

With help from Midland LPT staff on Sunday 28 February 2016 a known cross district offender (police talk for a person who committed offences in more than one police district) who was being looked for by SEMD staff was located and arrested so he could be interviewed regarding a number of matters.

It is alleged that while being driven to the Station the arrested person threatened to spit on the Police and claimed to have AIDS. No police offer was injured during the arrest.

After inquiries by Kensignton Detectives were completed the 35yo male from West Swan charged with 7 Stealing offences, 2 Frauds, Threats to Harm, Disorderly Conduct and traffic offences

His bail was refused and spent Sunday in the Perth Watch House to cool his heels before going to Court this morning.

In an unrelated case the Cannington LPT Staff were already up to their necks in an inquiry on Sunday and were heading to an address in Bentley to catch up with an offender. They were advised that he had returned to the original location and committed further offences.

Arriving within seconds at the address the alleged offender was taken into custody as he leaving a house that he had broken into trying to locate an occupant who it is claimed he found and assaulted.

Contrary to the usual muttering when we are not there to see something happen in this case “you could find a policeman when you most needed one”.
