A complaint was made to WA Police regarding the stolen Pirate hat. An investigation took place which resulted with a 43 year old male person being arrested at his Mosman Park home early this morning.

The pirate hat in question was located in his vehicle.

As a result of inquiries the man has been charged with Stealing, like walking the plank but different.

WA Police would like to reunite more victims with their property, we encourage our great audience to consider following Police Twitter accounts in their local area and liking some of the 12 District Facebook pages as seized property from search warrants & vehicle stops are often posted up. On this page in the Photos / Albums section we have some property that is still waiting identification.

We are very aware many Victims of Crime are not so lucky to get their often irreplaceable and sentimental items back, but we would like to you to know that every day we are working hard to recover property, charge baddies and get things that mean a lot back where they belong.

Crystal clear CCTV footage assisted greatly in this matter, this is a good way to target harden your home or business and we would recommend getting the best cameras you can reasonably afford.
