‪#‎Canyouhelp‬ – At approximately 7.25am on Wednesday 10 June 2015 a female approached a 21 year old woman in the underpass at McIver Train Station in Perth. The female dragged her to the ground by her hair before kicking her several times in the head. A pink gym bag was taken by the female, which contained numerous personal items.
The 21 year old woman received cuts and bruises to her head.
The female was last seen running off through the under pass towards East Perth.
Despite exhaustive inquiries, police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.

We Are Happy To Announce The Critically Endangered Tortoise That Was Stolen From Perth Zoo Has Been Recovered…

We are happy to announce the critically endangered tortoise that was stolen from Perth Zoo has been recovered by officers From the Central Metropolitan District Control Centre and officers from the Perth LPT 5 team.

The tortoise was purchased by a member of the public not knowing the black market value or the rarity of the animal. After conducting his own research and realising he may have the stolen tortoise, he attended at the Perth Police Station from where Police Officers took him to the Murdoch University Veterinarian clinic for a check up prior to his return to Perth Zoo in the morning.

We all wish to thank the good Samaritan who lost some money in the transaction for the tortoises return back to his home at the Zoo.

Perth Detectives Have Charged A 34 Year Old Ballajura Man After He Was Wanted For Questioning Over A…

Perth Detectives have charged a 34 year old Ballajura man after he was wanted for questioning over a number of offences throughout the metropolitan area.

Detectives attended at his Ballajura home today and attempted to speak to him. He then allegedly climbed out of the house via a window and climbed onto the roof of a neighbouring house to escape police.

It didn’t work! Police were able to apprehend him and he was subsequently charged.

He was charged with 22 x Gains Benefit by Fraud, Stealing, Criminal Damage, and 2 x Breach of Bail. Many of the fraud offences related to the man allegedly using stolen credit/Paypass cards to purchase items.

He will appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on 6 February. #Nicetrybuddy

Perth Police Calling For Witnesses To This Incident

Hello everyone.
Police are calling for any witnesses to an attempted robbery which occurred in the early hours of Sunday 24 January 2016 on the stairs outside Hans Café, Forrest Place, Wellington Street Perth.
The victims (two female Dutch tourists), were attacked by two unknown females who attempted to steal their bag.

Perth Serious Assault Charge – Perth Detectives Have Charged A Man In Relation To An Incident At A Bar…

Perth Serious Assault Charge – Perth Detectives have charged a man in relation to an incident at a bar in Murray Street, Perth this morning, Saturday 23 January 2016.

About 12:20am a 23 year old man was with friends walking through the courtyard section of the bar. It will be alleged the accused bumped into the victim, however the victim just continued on with his friends. It will be further alleged the accused then punched the victim to the back of his head, causing him to lose consciousness.

The victim fell to the ground hitting his head on a table, and then the brick pavement. The victim remained conscious for a considerable amount of time. He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital where he is being treated for head/facial injuries.

Other patrons of the bar chased after the accused, and with the assistance of security personnel detained him until police arrived.

A 21 year old man from Nollamara has been charged with Grievous Bodily Harm. He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court (Northbridge sitting) today, Saturday 23 January 2016.

PERTH ATTEMPTED ROBBERY

Perth Detectives are seeking information regarding an incident in Perth on Saturday 26 December 2015 in which a man was the victim of an attempted robbery.

About 9:15pm the 21 year old victim was walking across the overpass between Forrest Chase and the Perth Train Station, heading towards the train station, when he was approached by a man asking him for money. When the victim declined the request he was threatened with violence and the offender tried to search his clothing, however left with nothing.

Two women with blonde hair were nearby at the time and spoke to the victim. Detectives would like to hear from those two women.

It is believed just prior to this another man carrying a bag may have also been approached by the same offender, and it is also possible a group of four people (a man and three women) may have been approached after this incident.

At this time it appears neither of the two additional incidents have been reported to WA Police, however detectives would like to hear from those people.

The offender is described as a dark skinned male, 21 – 23 years old, approximately 185cm, has crooked teeth and short black hair on top of his head, and longer hair at the back. At the time of the incident he was wearing a white t-shirt with an image on the front, black jeans, black shoes, a white and black cap and was wearing a black backpack.

Perth Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance with their investigation into the theft of two diamond rings from a jeweller in Perth on 25 November 2015.

At approximately 12 noon, a man and woman enter the jeweller in the London Court arcade. While the victim was walking back to his desk the man opened the display window and removed two diamond rings. A short time later the man and woman left the store.

Police believe the people in this footage can assist with their inquiries.

#Canyouhelp – Perth Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to an alleged assault that occurred at a Bar located on Nicks Lane in Northbridge.

At about 11.30pm on Friday 6 November 2015, a group of males, including the 31 year old victim, attended the Bar.
Whilst at the venue, the victim sat at a table with three females where he conversed for a short period of time.

Police believe the victim may have been struck over the head with an item and his injury required hospitalisation. The man received a laceration to his head requiring a number of staples to close the wound.

Perth Detectives are urging members of the public who may have seen the incident to come forward and provide any information that may assist the investigation and identity of the alleged offender.

Police have released a CCTV image of a male and three females who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.

The third image is the injury sustained by the victim that night.

About 7.00am on Monday 21 September 2015 a man entered the premises through an unlocked door. Once inside he went behind the bar and forced open a locked cabinet which contained a safe with a large quantity of cash inside. He then left with the safe and numerous bottles of alcohol.

Midland And Perth Detectives Have Arrested Two 18 Year Old Men In Relation To Two Armed Robberies In…

Midland and Perth detectives have arrested two 18 year old men in relation to two armed robberies in Subiaco last night.

It is alleged the first incident occurred about 8:30pm on Monday 28 December 2015 near Hay and Denis Street, when one of the two men armed with a knife threatened a 65 year old man and demanded he hand over his satchel. The man refused and a struggle occurred where the male victim was stabbed several times to the upper body and face. During the struggle the alleged co-offender was stabbed to the hand by the first offender.

Both men fled on foot empty handed. The victim walked to a nearby residence to obtain help and was taken to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital for treatment by St John Ambulance.

The second incident occurred about ten minutes later on Sheen Street and it is alleged the men approached a 27 year old woman and grabbed at her bag which dropped to the pavement. The woman bent down to pick the bag up when it is further alleged the woman was kicked to the floor.

A member of the public having seen the assault on the woman gave chase and stopped one of the men on Salvado Road and waited a short time for police to attend.

A short distance away the other man was located.

An 18 year old Koondoola man was refused bail and charged with one count each of Attempted Robbery, Acts Intended to Cause GBH, Aggravated Robbery. He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court this morning.

The other 18 year old man of Port Kennedy was taken to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital for treatment of an injured hand. He has been charged with one count each of Attempted Robbery, Acts Intended to Cause GBH and Aggravated Robbery. He is currently under police guard and expected to have a bedside hearing today.

Perth Detectives Are Seeking The Public’S Assistance In Relation To An Incident That Occurred In Perth…

Perth Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to an incident that occurred in Perth last night, Thursday 17 December 2015.

About 11.30pm a 19 year old man from Guildford was riding his motorcycle east along Wellington Street in front on the Perth Train Station when he was struck in the throat and dislodged from his motorcycle by a piece of rope that was tied across the road.

He was able to move onto the paved area in front of the train station where he removed his helmet but was immediately surrounded by a group of juveniles. One of the juveniles then struck him over the back of his head with a glass bottle.

St John Ambulance attended and the victim was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment to a laceration to the back of his scalp and rope burns/abrasions to his neck.

Perth Detectives Are Investigating An Assault And Robbery Incident That Occurred In West Perth On Sunday…

Perth Detectives are investigating an assault and robbery incident that occurred in West Perth on Sunday 22 November 2015.

The man was travelling on the 403 bus towards the city when at approximately 6:30pm he has excited on Carr Street (near Fitzgerald Street) in West Perth. At the bus stop he was confronted by an unknown number of people who punched him, causing him to fall to the ground.

At some point during the incident the offenders have then taken the victim’s phone and wallet from his shorts pockets. They then ran from the scene along Fitzgerald Street towards Northbridge.

Police believe that these people pictured on the 403 bus may be able to assist with their inquiries.
