Around 1.30pm on Tuesday 1 March 2016, Regional Operations Group officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop of a Holden Commodore on Thompson Street, Dudley Park. It will be alleged the driver did not pull over as requested and drove off at speed. Police followed the vehicle for a short distance before losing sight of the vehicle. Officers continued patrolling the general area and about 1.50pm they saw the vehicle on Coolibah Avenue Dudley Park. It will be further alleged, once again the driver did not pull over and speed off. The driver lost control of the Holden and collided with a power pole. A 42 year old Dudley Park man has been charged with No Authority to Drive; Reckless Driving; Fail to Stop; Fail to Stop in Circumstances of Aggravation and Breach of Bail. He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today, 2 March 2016.
