Rockingham Detectives Need Your Help. Do You Have Any Information In Relation To This Rockingham Incident?

Rockingham Detectives are seeking information regarding an incident in Rockingham in the early hours of Tuesday, 12 April 2016.

Just after 4am, a man holding a crowbar and with his face covered, entered a lunch bar located on Dixon Road.

The man demanded money from a staff member. When the man was told there wasn’t any money he threatened the staff member before leaving the store.

He is described as being 16 to 19 years of age, approximately 174cms tall, with a slim build and an olive complexion.

He was wearing dark coloured pants and a black hoodie with the hood pulled up over his head.

Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident who may have seen any suspicious activity (i.e. person/vehicle).

Rockingham Detectives continue to seek the public’s assistance regarding three incidents involving a firearm that occurred on Tuesday 1 March 2016. It is believed all three incidents are linked.

The first incident occurred about 9am on Parkin Street in Rockingham. The victim answered a knock at his door and was asked by a man to move his vehicle. When the victim went to move his vehicle he was approached by two other men, one who produced a firearm and demanded the keys to the vehicle. Fearing for his safety the victim handed over his keys and all three men drove off.

The vehicle, which has not been recovered, is a black Holden Commodore SV6 sedan with registration number 1DLB 655.

The man involved in this incident (composite image attached) is described as being dark skinned, approximately 26-27 years old with a solid (muscular) build, short cropped black hair and well groomed facial hair.

He was wearing a black jumper with a zip up front that had a single white stripe down the right arm and a plain black t-shirt.

The second incident occurred about 7:50pm on Waterfront Parkway and Eldon Street in Shoalwater. Two men were riding bicycles when they approached the victim’s vehicle. One of the men produced a firearm, tapped on the windscreen and asked the victim to wind down his window. The victim refused and drove off.

The third incident occurred about 8pm on Fisher Street and Jubilee Street in Rockingham. The victim was parked in his vehicle when a man approached and tapped on the window. The man produced a firearm and demanded the victim hand over his car keys. The man began to open to driver’s door however the victim was able to drive away.

The man involved in the second incident (composite image attached) is described as being tanned skinned with a slim build and unshaven. He was wearing a dark coloured hooded jumper and dark shorts.

Rockingham Detectives are seeking assistance from the public regarding two robberies that occurred in Rockingham on Tuesday 22 March 2016.
The first incident occurred about 7.00am on Read Street and the second occurred about an hour later on Centaurus Street.
During both incidents two males riding a dark coloured moped threatened the victims with a hammer before stealing personal belongings.
The first male is described as being 15-16 years old, approximately 173cm tall with a slim build. He was wearing grey tracksuit pants and a grey jumper.
The second male is described as being 16-17 years old, approximately 155cms tall with a slim build. He was wearing black tracksuit pants and a black jacket.

Police are particularly interested in anyone who may have dash cam vision from the Read Street and Centaurus Street area between 7.00am and 8.30am on the morning of Tuesday 22 March 2016.

Rockingham Detectives are calling for information relating to a series of Robbery offences on Tuesday 22 March 2015.
The first robbery occurred about 7am on Read Street, Rockingham near Rockingham Senior High School. The second Robbery occurred about 8:15am on Centaurus Street, Rockingham.
Both offences involved two males wearing dark clothing riding a moped. Information so far indicates the moped rode from the first offence to the second along Read Street in a southerly direction about 7:05am.
Detectives are requesting any person who may have been driving in the area and has a dash cam to please review the footage for the moped.

Point Peron Serious Assault Charges – Rockingham Detectives have charged three men in relation to an incident in Point Peron yesterday morning, Saturday 27 February 2016, in which a man received serious injuries.

About 12:10am a 47 year old man was placing personal belongings into his car at a car park at Point Peron, when he was approached by three men. The men engaged him in conversation, and it will be alleged one of the men punched the victim’s face, while a second hit him to the head with a baseball bat. The victim fell to the ground, unconscious.

Another person who was in the area at the time called for an ambulance and WA Police was advised of the incident.

St John Ambulance attended and the victim was taken to Rockingham Hospital, and then transferred to Royal Perth Hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

Police Officers were provided a description of the men, and the vehicle they were in, and about 1:45am they were located at another beach car park in Rockingham where they were taken into custody.

Three men aged 19, 22 and 30 years old, all from Waikiki, have been charged with Grievous Bodily Harm. They were all refused bail and are due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today, Sunday 28 February 2016.

An Operation By East And West Pilbara Detectives, Rockingham Detectives, South And Port Hedland Police…

An operation by East and West Pilbara Detectives, Rockingham Detectives, South and Port Hedland Police has seen 7 men aged between 28 and 60 years of age charged with more than 100 drug and stolen property charges.

The operation was targeting people believed to be involved in the distribution of illicit drugs and the linked volume crime offending.

The value of the recovered property alleged to be stolen is believed to be more than $50,000 and included computers, power tools and cash.

During the operation officers also found a quantity of methamphetamine, MDMA, cocaine and a sawn-off shotgun.

Rockingham Detectives Have Charged A 29 Year Old Man From Shoalwater With “Attempted Unlawfully To Kill”…

Rockingham Detectives have charged a 29 year old man from Shoalwater with “Attempted unlawfully to kill” after an incident in Rockingham yesterday, Thursday 11 February 2016.

It will be alleged about 12.10pm the man was sitting inside a vehicle parked on Whitfield Street, just outside the Rockingham Police Station.

When the victim, a 39 year old man from Waikiki, approached the driver’s side door of the vehicle it will be further alleged the man in the vehicle produced a firearm and discharged it once, striking the victim in the chest. The man then drove off from the area.

Rockingham Local Policing Team officers administered first aid to the victim until St John Ambulance arrived and conveyed the victim to Royal Perth Hospital, where he is currently in a stable condition.

The man is due to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court today, Friday 12 February 2016.

A Man Who Unsuccessfully Evaded Police Faces Multiple Charges..

Police have charged a 30 year old man after he evaded police in Medina overnight.
Around 6pm (30 January), Rockingham Detectives were conducting patrols in the Medina area and observed at a Toyota Landcruiser driving north on Tucker Street.
Police identified the driver as a man wanted to help with inquiries, and attempted to stop his car.
It will be alleged the vehicle failed to stop for police, and was followed onto Medina Avenue, Thomas Road and Ratcliffe Road before entered bushland.
Police Airwing, Dog Squad and other police vehicles attended the area, with the offending vehicle driving through gates and fences to avoid police.
The car received damage and was unable to be driven, and its two occupants abandoned the vehicle and then ran into bushland. Officers apprehended both without incident.
A 30 year old man of No Fixed Address has been charged with Breach of Bail, Armed Robbery, Burglary, Criminal Damage, 3 x Stealing, Fail to Stop and Reckless Driving. He will appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today.

Orelia Serious Assault – Rockingham Detectives are continuing to appeal for information from the public into an incident that occurred at a home in Clark Way, Orelia about 5:00am on Sunday 3 January 2016.

Emergency Services attended and located two men, aged 50 and 36, with serious head injuries and they were taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.

The circumstances surrounding how the men were injured is still unclear and police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area of Clark Way around the time of the incident or a few hours prior, who may have seen any suspicious activity.

Police would particularly like to speak to anyone who saw a white Isuzu D-MAX utility in the area around the time of the incident.

Rockingham Detectives are conducting a review of an Aggravated Armed Robbery and Grievous Bodily Harm incident which occurred on Maitland Close, Cooloongup in the early hours of Sunday 8 June 2014.

A 46 year old man was seated in his vehicle at the end of the cul-de-sac when he was approached by two men who assaulted him and stole his mobile phone and cash. As a result he received facial fractures and vision impairment to his right eye.

Rockingham detectives have seized a number of items after executing a search warrant at a Port Kennedy address on Friday 19 June 2015.
As a result of an ongoing investigation, police seized three rifles, three handguns and two shotguns and are currently ascertaining whether the firearms have been stolen.
Over 100 grams of methamphetamine and over $150,000 in cash was also located at the address.
A 28 year old man of Secret Harbour has been questioned by police and will face drugs and firearms charges.
