Drugs Seized From Vessel At Wyndham Port

‪#‎TougherForCrooks‬ – Wyndham Search Warrant – 55 year old man from Broome arrested

Broome and Kununurra Detectives arrested a 55 year old man yesterday in Wyndham after a search warrant was executed on a vessel at the Wyndham Port.

At 7:40am (Monday 11 April 2016) Detectives sought the assistance of officers from Kununurra and Wyndham police, Northern Territory Police and Department of Transport, to search a vessel at the Wyndham Port. Northern Territory Police utilised a drug dog to complete the search.

It will be alleged a number of clip seal bags of Methylamphetamine weighing approximately 28grams and other drug paraphernalia were located inside the cabin area of the vessel.

A 55 year old man from Broome was arrested and he has been charged with one count each of Possession of a Prohibited Drug with Intent to Sell or Supply (Methylamphetamine) and Possessed Drug Paraphernalia.

He was bailed and is due to appear in the Broome Magistrates Court on Monday 18 April 2016.

Department of Transport will continue to make further inquiries.

Canning Vale Police have been working hard to combat a spike in burglary and stealing offences in the local area over the past couple of weeks.
Police have been out in force stopping cars, talking to suspicious people, gathering intelligence, executing search warrants and arresting offenders.
The photos attached, taken early Easter Sunday morning, show officers on their way to execute a search warrant relating to a stealing offence with the assistance of Police Dog Mako.
In all, Easter Sunday saw us execute a total of four consecutive searches with several offenders arrested and remanded in custody for a variety of offences.

As a result, four people have now been charged with several drug related offences, including possess drug with intent to sell/supply, and a large quantity of cannabis and drug paraphernalia has been seized.

Midland Detectives executed a search warrant at a Ballajura residence yesterday (Thursday 25 February 2016) afternoon and charged a man and a woman with drug related offences.

At about 3:25pm, it will be alleged during the search of a residence on Hamelin Drive officers located and seized approximately 1.0kg of freshly harvested Cannabis leaf and bud material, approximately 500grams of Cannabis leaf (drying), hydroponic equipment and other drug paraphernalia.
A 48 year old woman from Ballajura and a 41 year old man from Lower Chittering were arrested from the residence.
The woman has been charged with one count each of Cultivate a Prohibited Plant, Possess Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Prohibited Drugs with Intent to Sell or Supply. She was bailed to appear in the Midland Magistrates Court on Friday 18 March 2016.
The man has been charged with one count each of Possession of Prohibited Drugs with Intent to Sell or Supply and Cultivate Prohibited Plant. He was bailed to appear in the Midland Magistrates Court on Friday 18 March 2016.

Fremantle Detectives and Local Police Team officers have charged a 48-year-old man after executing a Misuse of Drugs Act search warrant at a White Gum Valley property.

The search warrant was executed yesterday afternoon (Thursday February 25) and as a result of the operation, officers charged three men with serious drug offences.

Fremantle Police Station Senior Sergeant Brad Warburton said community information is vital in investigations into local drug trafficking.

“This address has been a cause for community concern and a focus for local police,” Sen. Sgt Warburton said.

“We will continue to target drug traffickers who bring immense harm to our community and prey on vulnerable members of our community solely for profit.

“We want those engaged in the illicit drug trade to ask themselves one question – who’s next? Our officers are searching properties across Perth almost daily.”

Two men aged 48 and 50 are due to appear in the Fremantle Magistrate’s Court today, 26 February 2016.

The 36-year-old man will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

Joondalup Proactive Team Detectives executed a Misuse of Drugs Act Search Warrant today.

It will be alleged that a 50 year old male occupant was in possession of drugs and smoking implements.

As a result of their investigation the male was arrested and conveyed to Clarkson Police Station, where he was charged with two counts of Possession of a Prohibited Drug with Intent to Sell/Supply – MDMA commonly known as ecstasy, one count of Possession of Prohibited Drug namely Methamphetamine and two counts of Possession of Smoking Implements.

A 25 year old woman from Derby has been charged with over 50 drug related offences following a MDA search warrant which was conducted at a property on Coolibah Way in Derby yesterday.

It will be alleged during a search of the property officers located a quantity of Methyl amphetamines and drug paraphernalia.

She is due to appear in the Derby Magistrates Court today, Thursday 25 February 2016.

Yesterday Joondalup Detectives Proactive Team executed a Misuse of Drugs Act search warrant at a house in Merriwa.

During the search they located a large quantity of jewellery, 2 laptops, an electronic tablet and numerous credit cards in various names.

The items were seized and detectives are currently making inquiries to locate the owners of the property.

Search Warrant, Mandurah Mundijong Police And Officers From Mandurah Local Policing Team Executed…

Search Warrant, Mandurah

Mundijong Police and officers from Mandurah Local Policing Team executed a Search Warrant at an address on Eacott Street, Mandurah yesterday (Tuesday 16 February 2016) and charged a 34 year old man.

At 5:10pm, the warrant was executed in response to numerous stealing offences reported across the South East and South Metropolitan Districts of metal plaques from public information areas, War Memorial sites, Cemeteries and Cremation Memorial Parks. Recently a quantity of plaques were stolen from the Byford Memorial Park.

It will be alleged during the search warrant police located a quantity of metal plaques, which included War Memorial and National Servicemen plaques. Other items from the property were also located and seized, this included two living ‘Long Neck’ Turtles, a small amount of Methylamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

The two turtles were taken to an animal rescue centre.

The 34 year old man from Mandurah has been charged with one count each Possess Prohibited Drug (Methylamphetamine), Possess Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property. He has been bailed to appear in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on Friday 11 March 2016.

The investigation is ongoing in relation to the possession of protected wildlife and other items seized from the property.

Great result after information from the public!

As a result of a 12 month investigation into the local sale and supply of illicit drugs in Belmont, a Misuse of Drugs Act search warrant was executed at a house in September 2015 where a significant amount of drugs, cash and weapons were located.

Further information received from local sources and Crime Stoppers over the following months resulted in new allegations that the previous occupants were conducting further illegal activity from the address remotely.

Belmont Local Policing Team 4 executed another search warrant at the house on Belgravia Street this morning, Tuesday 9 February 2016, and it is alleged during the search officers located a defunct hydroponic setup, Cannabis plants, Methylamphetmaine, cash, smoking implements and mobile phones.

Four men present at the house will be charged by summons for drug related offences and will appear in court at a later date.
