Kensington Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance with their investigation into an incident that occurred in Cannington on Tuesday 11 November 2014.
About 2.00pm, a 19 year old woman was standing on Railway Parade in East Cannington near the train station waiting for a friend when she was approached by man not known to her.
The man stood next to the woman and tried to engage her in conversation before grabbing her and indecently assaulting her.
The man let her go and walked off when he sighted a couple of people exit a nearby delicatessen across the road the incident.
The man is described as being 40 to 45 years of age, with dark olive complexion, of medium build, approximately 170 to 175cms tall, short black hair and with dark eyes and slight stubble on his face. He had several silver teeth in the upper row.
He was wearing a light purple long sleeve business shirt, black trousers, black shoes and a black belt. He was carrying a black laptop satchel bag.

Perth police have charged an 83-year-old former priest and scout leader with the sexual assault of three boys between 1954 and 1979.
WA Police spokeswoman Susan Usher said the alleged assaults against two ten-year-old boys and one 16-year-old occurred when the man was an Anglican Priest in Ravensthorpe and a scout leader in Wembley.

Perth Detectives are seeking information regarding an incident on board a train at the Perth Train Station on Tuesday, 2 June 2015.
About 5:10pm a 17 year old girl boarded a train on the Joondalup Line at the Perth Train Station. The girl was standing in the centre of the train carriage and reported to Police that she was indecently assaulted by a man that was standing next to her.
Detectives would like to speak to a woman who it is believed witnessed the incident, and who called out at the man. It is believed this woman exited the train at either the Leederville or Warwick Train Station.
Anyone with information regarding this incident, in particular the female passenger referred to above, is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
